I am Cihan Yıldırım, baker and entrepreneur from Turkey, with a passion for high quality bread. Over many years of visiting and eventually living in London, I fell in love with the city, but couldn’t stand the taste of its bread. In the land of dreams, I decided to chase my own by starting an authentic Turkish bakery. I went home to Istanbul, learned from most experienced authentic master bakers, and returned with the finest quality flour I could find from the fields of Turkey. Now, I hope to fill your tables with the same authentic, natural, and delicious food we grew up loving.
Our mission at Yscey Bakery is to bring the highest quality bread to London. That’s why we use whole, unbleached flour from the fields of Turkey. We’ve gone back to our roots to provide a unique, wholesome, healthier grain variety from non-GMO certified fields, drawing from a tradition of milling that dates back hundreds of years.
